UFR SoCLE stands for Societies, Cultures, and Foreign Languages. This meaningful acronym refers to a Teaching and Research Unit (UFR) whose primary focus is none other than the world in all its fundamental diversity.
Studying at the UFR SoCLE means making a firm commitment to plurilingualism and theopen-mindedness.
Our courses are held on the Grenoble/Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus as well as in the city of Valence. The courses are identical on both campuses. We offer two academic programs:
Applied foreign languages (LEA)
Foreign and regional languages, literatures and civilizations (LLCER)
