Exemption from tuition fees

Depending on your profile and financial resources, you may qualify for an exemption from the University's annual tuition fees. Three committees are set up each year to deal with requests from eligible students.

Request an exemption from state registration fees

Students wishing to be exempt from differentiated tuition fees must submit a request and declare their financial resources. After reviewing their individual and financial circumstances (scholarship recipients, wards of the state, students with disabilities, refugees, asylum seekers, or recipients of subsidiary protection, or those in financial difficulty), the transitional provisions of the decree for this year will allow the UGA to decide on exemptions for applicants (excluding constituent institutions); the UGA intends to apply these exemptions broadly, within the regulatory limits.
In the event of an exemption, only national laws will apply:
  • €178 for a license
  • €255 for a master's degree
