Towards the Biennale d'Art Contemporain

Culture
The aim is to explore new venues and non-classical or non-figurative art forms, including conceptual art, installations and performances, for students in M1 and M2 LLCER, Hispanic Studies.
The objectives of the project are to enable this sometimes disturbing or surprising encounter with artistic objects less familiar to Spanish-speaking students, with a view to "perfecting their knowledge and enlightening their careers" (Priority axes, framework letter).

Lyon Biennial of Contemporary ArtThe exhibition, which features several major artists from the Hispanic art scene, is an opportunity for students. The extraordinary artists come from various countries in the Hispanic area (Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador...) and they come together on a theme based on water, which "resonates with human relations, the environment and society (CERHIS's theme, incidentally) and interculturality, at the heart of the UFR's project:

"Les voix des fleuves Crossing the water invites artists to evoke, question and pursue the subject of relationships that are forged and loosened between beings and with their environment. [Places] embody the history, diversity and invention of community practices. Their walls, which still bear the traces of those who have worked, lived and lived there, evoke rituals of conviviality and ways of being and doing together.
