Preparing for the agrégation in Italian 2024

VAI ALL'UGA
Educational innovation
VAI ALL'UGA is the name of the new comprehensive, hybrid preparation for the agrégation offered by the Italian department of the UFR SoCLE at the start of the 2024-2025 academic year.
We give you the opportunity to work at your own pace, anywhere, anytime! We offer you a teaching platform, online methodological resources, application exercises, online courses and video conferencing.

Organization

  • A back-to-school week from July 8 to 12, 2024 (UGA Campus in Saint Martin d'Hères)
  • One week of training from October 21 to 25, 2024 (UGA Campus in Saint Martin d'Hères)
  • A mock competition will be held remotely from January 2 to 4, 2025
The year is divided into 4 periods, each of which prepares students for the eligibility and admission tests.
Teaching resources are deposited on the E-formation platform. Synchronous courses and virtual classes via videoconferencing, as well as forums and collaborative workspaces, are also planned.

The week of July 8 to 12, 2024, which constitutes the first grouping time on the Saint Martin d'Hères campus, is designed as a propaedeutic time in several respects:
  • Firstly, the aim is to provide guidance on each of the literature questions on the program, so that preparatory students can make the most of the summer months. With this in mind, two renowned specialists will be contributing their expertise to the course: Sonia Porzi, Senior Lecturer at the University of Clermont Auvergne, one of France's few specialists in the medieval question (Catherine of Siena: Lettres aux puissants) and former member of the jury for the internal Agrégation, and Matteo Residori, Professor at the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris 3), eminent specialist in France and Italy on the Renaissance (Torquato Tasso: Gerusalemme liberata) and former member of the jury for the external Agrégation. For the more technical subjects (translation, Latin and historical linguistics), the teachers in charge of the course at UGA will provide methodological advice and an introductory class session.
  • Secondly, it involves discovering the resources available online and learning how to navigate the educational platform.
  • Thirdly, we need to create a group dynamic so that the exchanges that will take place remotely over the course of the year are fluid and effective.
