Legends / Theater in Italian

Culture
The students in the Italian LLCER bachelor’s program (second and third years) invite you on a journey through ancient myths, dreams, and beliefs, at the crossroads of cultures and imaginations.
Leggende is an original play based on a selection of traditional Moroccan legends drawn from oral narratives told by women in Arabic, transcribed into French by the Italian writer, poet, and ethnologist Elisa Chimenti (1883–1969)—who lived her entire life in Tangier—and then translated into Italian for this production.

Performance in Italian interspersed with passages in French and Arabic. Accessible to all.

Performance presented by students of the Italian LLCER program (L2 and L3)
