This exhibition, dedicated to the memory of terrorism in Spain in the 20th and 21st centuries , is the result of a collective research, analysis, and mediation project carried out by students from different university programs, from an academic, critical, and educational perspective.

Part of a series of events organized at the University of Grenoble Alpes in April 2026 on the history and memory of terrorism, it invites reflection on the ways in which terrorism is represented, on public and media discourse, and on the processes of constructing and transmitting contemporary memories.

It draws on the research and work of students from the L3 LEA/EGL English-Spanish program in Valence and the L1 LLCER Spanish program in Grenoble, who studied various cases of terrorism using memorial, media, legal, and social approaches, and presented their findings in the form of summaries, posters, and videos.

The L3 LEA/EGL students also curated the exhibition, taking charge of the design, organization, mediation, and communication of the project, which was carried out with the support of the Rodolphe Pesce University Library at UGA and their teams. The exhibition was intended to be shared with a wide audience in order to stimulate discussion and reflection on the memory of terrorism in Spain.
This project is supported by the Department of Culture and Scientific Culture at the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and by the SoCLE faculty, and supervised by professors David Crémaux-Bouche and Mariana Domínguez Villaverde.
