TheInstitut des Langues et Cultures d'Europe, Amérique, Afrique, Asie et Australie (ILCEA4) federates the research and activities of 6 in-house teams specializing in foreign languages, literatures, cultures and civilizations:

Research projects - from the Middle Ages to the present day - focus on literature, cultural and intermedia studies, civilizations and cultures, and issues at the crossroads of literary and civilizational studies, corpus building, the relationship between the humanities and the digital world, specialty languages, discourses and cultures, and specialized translation.
