Five teaching teams provide training in German, English, Spanish, Italian and Russian, from bachelor's degree to doctorate, not forgetting master's degree courses and preparation for competitive teaching exams.
The courses offered are varied (monolingual, bi-lingual, etc.) and, although resolutely multi-disciplinary (wide range of subjects, openings to other fields, etc.), aim for a very high level of specialization in the languages and cultures studied.
Taking an LLCER course means setting three clear objectives:
achieve an excellent command of one or two of the five languages on offer (in-depth linguistic knowledge and communication skills)
acquire knowledge and skills inthe field of culture in the broadest sense (history, geography, literature, aesthetics, etc.)
evolve according to an assertive pre-professionalization rationale, with the aim of reinvesting the knowledge and skills acquired in one of the many professional fields offered by the sector
Exchange agreementswith a number of foreign universities enable the LLCER department to encourage international mobilitye of its students right from the undergraduate level.
